I did this all with nail polish for once. I prefer paint for designs because it lays flatter on the nail, but I was too lazy to mix paints to the colors I wanted. It worked out pretty well I think.

This is really nice, I like that the one finger is a little bit different. Dis you use a brush to make the pattern? Your nails are really pretty, are they natural if I may ask? : D

Ya, I used a paint brush. One that I trimmed down with scissors. I am not usually good with swirls and such, but with practice I'm getting better. And yes, my nails are natural. I really dislike fake nails because in my experience with them years ago, they wreck your natural nails and I hate having to pay someone to do them, lol. I also had a very painful mishap once.

I have quite long natural nails but they sometimes brake off so I have uneven nails and I don't like that so I was thinking of getting some gel tips or something but yes they definitely ruiln the natural nail under it and it is so expensive so I might not go for it. : D

I've always had my nails painted,but I think what really helps them to not break is to have a few layers of polish on all the time. I use a "hardener" base coat, couple coats of color, and 1 or 2 layers of clear top coat. My nails used to break so easily. I changed my diet to be healthier which I think helped a lot, but regrettably I have gone back to junk food. I'm surprised my nails still hold strong for the most part. I've also tried vitamins for nails/hair/skin which made them grow fast and strong. I use them now if I chop my nails off real short. I've used silk wraps for breaks/tears too, they really help but are kind of a pain to maintain if you redo your nails a lot. Sorry for rambling, lol.

Thanks for the tips! I always have my nails polished too since without plish I'm afraid they will brake suoer easy. People are often quite surprised how long my nails are and I tell them to just use polish! But a good diet and taking care of your nails is really important too. Your nails are really pretty and even. Every time I do some rough work all of my nails brake off hahah. XD
